As Senior Principal Technical Lead/DBA, I actively participated in DB/middleware/application tuning, performance capacity assessments and implementation of recommended enhancements for BoA's Online Brokerage, a web-based transactional system generating over $100 million in annual revenues. As a result of our improvements, BoA's application moved from 300th position to the top 25 for response time and top 10 for availability on industry benchmark charts, and the global cash deposit rate increased by 80%.
